Lagonda Convertible 1929
The Lagonda Sports Tourer of 1929 was a thoroughbred among sports cars. The classically proportioned four-seater coachwork with long bonnet and elegant sweeping wings was the height of style in the Roaring Twenties when the evocative name of Lagonda rapidly became an award-winning marque.
Successful at Le Mans in 1929, its advanced engineering and soundness of design could propel it to over 80mph with impeccable smoothness and handling. This fine example, in the same ownership since the 1960s, is in concours condition, and is as eye-catching today as it was when it first appeared to the motoring press in 1929. Luxurious blue leather seating provides great comfort with plenty of leg-room.
Easily accessed from the passenger doors via generous running-boards, passengers can enjoy spontaneous waves from everyone they pass! An efficient and easily erected hood and side windows provide excellent protection from any wind or rain, making it a practical car for any special event where photo opportunities are all-important.
Breathtaking style from the best of the vintage years!
