Rolls-Bentley 'R-Type' 1953
Built by Rolls-Royce Ltd, the new post-war Bentley 'R-Type' was an immensely refined car with flowing lines and stately grandeur. Following its launch in 1953 it immediately appealed to affluent private individuals as well as public figures all over the world.
Steeped in the marque's legendary racing performances at Le Mans, the 'R-Type' (as it came to be known) was luxurious even by today's standards. The progressively increased performance of its 4.5-litre six-cylinder engine, its sumptuous four-seater interior with chestnut leather and burr walnut dashboard and door cappings, resulted in its becoming one of the most popular Bentleys ever produced.
Today some 66% of the total production still survive. The true "silent sports car" will add elegance, grace and style to your special occasion.
