Rolls-Royce 20/25 1932
The legendary mechanical refinement of Rolls-Royce ensured that this new model continued to be a byword for excellence the world over. Kings and queens, heads of state, emperors and a multitude of well-off and distinguished individuals all bought these fabulous cars because they were undeniably "the best car in the world".
The designer, F.H. Royce, was quoted as saying, "The quality will remain long after the price is forgotten" - confirmed by the fact that over half of the total production of some 3,827 cars still exist today, all over the world, nearly eighty years later! The 3,699cc six-cylinder engine, refined and stringently tested during its long production, was quite fast enough for any of the roads of the 1930s, offering impeccable handling and reaching 70mph with ease.
Comfortable and well proportioned models such as this example from the royal coachbuilders (Park Royal) were elegant and spacious, allowing ample leg-room and head-height for its four appreciative occupants. The ultimate chauffeur-driven classic Rolls-Royce from the 1930s and a glamorous and stylish arrival at any event.
